Avoid check cashing hassles with direct deposit
If you’re still walking or driving to the bank to get your paycheck cashed, now is a good time to consider choosing direct deposit because, beginning in June, Encadria will move its payroll banking activities from Wachovia Bank to Bank of America.
Employees who already use direct deposit should not even notice the difference.
However, employees who still cash paychecks at a local Wachovia Bank branch may find that their neighborhood Wachovia may not cash a Bank of America check unless you have an account with Wachovia bank.
Anyone still cashing paychecks can avoid all this by choosing direct deposit, through which Encadria will automatically deposit your paycheck into the account you choose. This eliminates check cashing issues in general or any delays associated with this transition to Bank of America. Direct deposit makes receiving your paycheck effortless.
To sign up for direct deposit, go to the Forms section of the Encadria website, print and fill out the Direct Deposit Authorization Form, then return to an Encadria office along with a voided check.
And to help Encadria transition to Bank of America, we are asking employees to identify and cash or deposit all outstanding payroll checks drawn on Wachovia Bank as soon as possible.

Staffing Employee Lands the Perfect Job - June 11, 2007 Former Encadria employee, Mike Williams, featured in the ASA "Hard Facts, Human Faces" national campaign
The ASA "Hard Facts, Human Faces" national public relations campaign highlights temporary and contract employees who embody the industry's five key messages: jobs, flexibility, bridge, choice, and training. The 2007 campaign starts this week with a mailing of "faces cards."
Mike represents "Bridge" —after leaving the restaurant industry to return to school, Michael sought the expertise of Encadria Staffing Solutions to help him find the perfect job. After graduation, Mike accepted a full-time offer within Georgia-Pacific LLC, the company the staffing firm placed him, and his story is being mailed to more than 1,100 business editors, journalists, industry analysts, and policy makers this week.
How did Michael become a face of this national outreach campaign? "Hard Facts, Human Faces" draws from staffing employees nominated for National Staffing Employee of the Year, the industry's highest honor for temporary and contract employees.
